Its really a worth watching Great Drama Survival Action Packed good fighting scenes and great great great moral. But that doesnt mean they arent worth watching. Overall I think its still pretty watchable and faithful to the source but Im disappointed they couldnt do more with the anime.

They are very good but they all cut very important things from the manga 97 or just rush it altogether movies. Hope I dont get downvoted too hard for this but if I had to rewatch either the movie trilogy or the original series Id side with the trilogy for just a couple couple reasons. Berserk is very well done and worth the time but you have to push through the first chapter or so to really get to the good stuff. The movies are alright but it is the same thing from the 1997 anime version. You will be left with a very bitter taste in your mouth.

The premise is primarily a romance with supernatural beings and bloodshed but its story is deep and brooding like that of Berserk. Its no substitute for the manga and its marred by cheap animation but its got good Japanese voice acting a decent English track talented-enough direction to feel engaging and barring the opening and ending themes a killer soundtrack. You will love it for sure the Thrill you will get after 2 to 3 episodes go ahead and start.
